Harrod's department store in Knightsbridge has been famous for fashionable shopping for more than a century. It began as a grocery shop but over the years expanded until it boasted that it could supply almost anything. The highlight is the food hall, which exudes an Edwardian charm, with marble columns, decorative tiles, and mosaics with gastronomic motifs. By night the exterior is spectacular, with the building's architectural details outlined with thousands of lights.
